Has anyone ever heard of this before I called Comcast today to find out my IP address (WAN side) as I am remote and cannot access my computer. They told me my modem is online but would not tell me my WAN IP address. After dealing with the manual reading tech I was transfered to a manager who said my IP address begins with 73. I knew then my IP address had change to the new IP scheme Comcast is using because my old IP's always started with 68.The manager told me that they have a policy of not giving any IP information to the customer they see on the screen. I have called in about 10 times over the last year for this very same thing and never had issues getting the WAN IP. Is this a new Comcast policy
